**Payables Specialist x2**

**Job Grade: P10**

**Remuneration**:R448 447 Total Cost to Company p/a**

**Job Purpose**:
To verify proper payment approval, process payments in a timely and complete manner, and ensure that only goods or services received are paid for.

**Required Minimum Education/training**:

- National Diploma/Degree in Accounting

**Required Minimum Experience**:

- 2 years of experience in financial accounting in the Public or Private sector, one-year experience in payables would be advantageous.
- 3 years of experience in public sector audit.

**Key performance areas**:

- To ensure that payments are made with proper approvals, in a timely and complete manner, and only for goods or services actually received;
- To make input into operating policies, procedures, and guidelines;
- To receive and resolve customer queries;
- To report on performance and identify and escalate performance constraints and any risks;
