**JOB BRIEF**
Provide a professional service to our clients, ensuring an accurate payroll last mile service (payments & reporting) is always delivered on-time. Meet agreed client SLA’s and ensure delivery of an excellent ‘customer service’. The incumbent must possess thorough understanding of payroll regulations and practices as well as excellent mathematical, communication, multi-tasking, MS Excel advanced and organizational skills.
Payroll Reporting & Payment Specialist will validate the integrity of payroll payment data and all the final steps of the month-end; bi-annual and year-end processes (payments, reconciliations, payment schedules and variance analysis). This includes duties such as communicating with staff to ensure necessary payroll-related tasks are completed, completing daily funding audits and payment reconciliation, and coordinating with finance and other business units as needed.
Knowledge and experience in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry will be advantageous.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Responsible for all aspects of payroll disbursement of all payroll payments and transfers, including preparation, documentation (Either from the client owned bank account or a SoluGrowth designated payroll bank account).
- Client Support / Client Servicing and third-party providers.
- Responsible for the reconciliation and payment of third-party payments.
- Liaising with third party regarding payments.
- Ensure output reports are received timeously each week and month.
- Ensure payment requests and or funding requests are issued timeously.
- Handling administration and payroll payment queries.
- Monthly EMP201 submissions.
- Bi-annual EMP501 submission.
- COIDA annual return submissions.
- STATS SA Quarterly submissions.
- Ensuring that UIF submissions are made.
- Manage all Third-party schedules and ensure payments are done if required.
- Working knowledge of HR Legislative reporting:
- Employment Equity reporting assistance.
- Workplace Skills Plan submission assistance.
- SDL Training schedules and supporting documentation preparation for claims.
- Assist with company registrations with:
- SARS (EMP Taxes)
- UIF
- COIDA
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:
- Matric + Payroll/HR Certification.
- Diploma in Payroll Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- 2 - 5+ years of payroll experience.
- SAPA CPP+ Certification will be beneficial.
- Banking Systems / Profiles (Standard Bank Business Online, FNB, PayAccsys)

- Microsoft Excel advanced experience (Pivots, V-Lookup, formulas).
**Other requirements**
- Must have own reliable transport.
- Must have a valid drivers’ licence.
- Must be able to work long hours.
- Must have a stable internet connection when working after-hours and when working remotely.
- Must be able to communicate inline with the India Standard Time (IST) Zone (GMT +5:30).
