A market leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of a range of laundry care products and accessories is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team. Based in Tongaat.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Pastel software and experience with Xperdyte
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including but not limited to creditors, debtors, posting to journals, and preparing trial balances.
- Reconcile accounts to the balance sheet and ensure accuracy of cash flows.
- Oversee the functionality of production planning and inventory software, Xperdyte integrated with Pastel accounting system
- Take overall responsibility for issuing statements
- Implement credit control measures and manage collections
