**Job Details**:
An equipment hire business is looking for a Depot Manager to oversee the general operational management of the Paarl depot, the management of people, and marketing management.

Location: Somerset West, Western Cape, South Africa

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Manage Day to Day depot functions.
- Manage depot staff.
- Ensure effective running of the depot which includes daily services, deliveries and collections.
- Manage depot budget and profitability of the depot.
- Work closely with Ops manager in planning and execution of ad hoc tasks
- Work closely with events team
- Good record keeping essential.
- Ensure safe working environment.
- Keep team motivated.
- Ongoing marketing to grow the business.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric
- We are ideally looking someone with a qualification or background in Management, Logistics, Marketing, or Sanitation.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a managerial position ideally with a good technical background.
- Valid driver’s licence - minimum Code 8 (EB).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills working with both employees and clients
- Ability to work independently
- Hunger to grow the business and look for new business
- Sound technical skills
- Not afraid to get hands dirty this is not a desk job
- Must be PC literate and be able to use the Microsoft Office programme (Excel, Word, Outlook) to a proficient level
