Debtors Clerk

**We are looking for an experienced Debtors Clerk to process and monitor all incoming payments and to recover the business’s debts.**

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Prepare and monitor Debtors age analysis
- Prepare and send monthly debtors’ invoices and statements
- Ensure clients details are loaded correctly on the system
- Creating and updating of debtors master file
- Following up debtor payment agreements
- Communicate (both verbal and written) with debtors with regards to overdue accounts
- Preparing debtors file and creation of debtors accounts in the system
- Ensuring that the Debtor’s Management Policy is understood and followed
- Pastel processing eg. journal entries, debtors’ statements, etc.
- Filing of debtors documents, invoices, etc.
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders regarding debtor’s-related queries
- General assistance to Financial Director

**Requirements**:

- Matric with Mathematics and Accounting essential
- Higher Certificate in Accounting/ Bookkeeping/ Finance-related qualification
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ related experience
- Pastel Evolution experience essential
- Proficient in Excel
- Clear criminal and ITC record
- Excellent communication skills
- Accurate and attention to detail
- Deadline driven
- Ability to work accurately under pressure

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R12,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
