We're seeking an experienced Storeman to oversee and enhance the warehousing aspect. Your role will involve safeguarding and organizing stock in an efficient manner to facilitate easy packing and picking processes.

Our Storeman should prioritize quality, possess expertise in store layout and merchandising, demonstrate precision in handling incoming stock from suppliers, and exhibit outstanding abilities in stock maintenance and protection. Effective communication and meticulous attention to detail are also essential qualities for this role.

**Minimum requirements**:

- 3 Years experience in a similar role
- 2 Years experience working experience in a medium sized store
- Valid Drivers license
- Forklift license (Advantageous)

**Duties**:

- Store layout and merchandising of stock.
- General housekeeping in the warehouse and receiving bays.
- Conducting frequent stock counts.
- Investigating and resolving variances.
- Accurately receiving stock from suppliers.
- Efficiently dispatching sold stock to customers.
- Assessing returned stock to initiate credit notes if necessary.
- Maintaining security over the stock.
- Vehicle inspections of trucks before and after deliveries.
- Ensuring that stock is accounted for at all times.
- Audit delivery notes and invoices for accuracy.
- Coordination of picking and packing stock onto delivery vehicles.
- Ensuring stock is loaded correctly and in an orderly manner.
- Coordinating and scheduling vehicles and drivers.
- Maintaining contact with delivery vehicles until returned to the store.
- Managing vehicle service intervals and cleaning.
- Ensuring trucks are kept in good working order.
- Oversight of logbooks.
- Customer and supplier relationship management.
- Internal stakeholder management.
- Achieve zero based-stock variance
- Follow safety procedures and protocols in
company standards
