Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Lead to head up and grow their development team and
support theirSalesforce offering.

**Responsibilities**:

- Grow your knowledge on the Salesforce commerce Cloud platform and eventually become an expert in it.
- Continuously develop your Salesforce knowledge and stay abreast of the latest releases, new features, and functionality
- Lead large-scale eCommerce implementations, utilising Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C, providing both oversight and hands-on contributions to the technical design, development, document, configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration of the Salesforce platform
- Understand the ins and outs of complex technology environments and know how to optimize solutions for efficiency and simplicity
- This role would require a strong knowledge base in Java that could be able to read APEX class.
- Manage the surrounding technologies that may be integrated into Salesforce.
- Collaborate with product manager, ecommerce, and marketing teams to build, optimise, and support our websites.
- Provide assessments and recommendations on the design of ecommerce systems, while integrating components built by developers and ensuring architectural integrity of the system
- You drive quality assurance measures and are responsible for code quality and tool configuration. Perform detailed code reviews and ensure best practices are being followed and technical debt is minimized
- Lead 3rd party integration efforts required including, but not limited to payment and tax providers, OMS, ERP, WMS, CMS, middleware, etc.
- Resolve integration and interfacing issues between various back-end systems
- Deep understanding of the deployment considerations specific to SaaS based cloud server.
- Can identify risks associated with development, included scalability, performance, or security issues.
- Strong experience with version-controlled environments/interfaces
- Develop Commerce Cloud solutions that support industry leading best practices in technology, features, performance, and scalability
- Diagnose and solve technical problems related to eCommerce and the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
- Understand and utilise Salesforce strategies the technical standards, specifications and policies

that are supported within the Salesforce ecosystem

**Key Skills**:

- Previous experience working in SAAS ecommerce platforms such as Oracle ATG, Magento, Hybris eCommerce platform or Shopify Plus.
- Have a deep understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, customisation, development, and integration into other systems.
- 1+ years of experience with Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) is beneficial
- Strong understanding of e-Commerce ecosystems and processes that include end-to-end data flows and processing from order management, fulfilment, payments, customer service and other back-end systems
- Developer Certifications with Salesforce cloud
- Working knowledge of Cross Cloud framework (SFCC and SFMC).
- Experience in handling at least 1 end to end SFCC development/implementation projects

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership position
- Application development experience with XML, HTTP and SQL
- Prior development experience in JavaScript, - node.js and Java.
- Experience in leading team in delivering packaged solutions in an enterprise environment
- Experience in design and development of third party (backend) integration, and should be able to implement the new cartridge for new vendors with SOAP or Rest API calls
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Experience on design Complex Architecture
- Knowledge on CSS, CSS3, HTML5, ES5 and ES6
- Prior development experience in React, Angular.js and SQL

**Experience**:

- hands-on technical leadership: 3 years (preferred)
- Storefront Reference Architecture: 1 year (preferred)
