The Design & Sales Consultant at SOTA is responsible for providing expert design advice, creating innovative kitchen concepts, and guiding clients through the entire design process. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, materials, and trends, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. The Design Consultant collaborates closely with clients, design teams, and manufacturing personnel to deliver exceptional design solutions that meet client requirements and business objectives.

**Responsibilities**:
Client Consultation:

- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle, and specific requirements for their kitchen design.
- Ask pertinent questions to gather information about their preferences, functional needs, and budget constraints.
- Provide professional design advice, incorporating industry trends, aesthetics, and practicality to help clients make informed decisions.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client's style and preferences to create tailored design concepts.

Conceptualization and Design Development:

- Utilize creative and analytical skills to conceptualize innovative kitchen designs that balance functionality, aesthetics, and client preferences.
- Create detailed design plans, including layout drawings, elevations, 3D renderings, and material selections.
- Collaborate with clients to refine and finalize design concepts, incorporating their feedback and ensuring alignment with their vision.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and company guidelines during the design development process.

Product and Material Knowledge:

- Stay updated on the latest kitchen design trends, materials, finishes, and technologies.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's product offerings, including cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, and accessories.
- Advise clients on the selection of appropriate products and materials based on their design preferences, functionality requirements, and budget.

Collaboration and Coordination:

- Work closely with internal teams, including manufacturing personnel, sales representatives, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure design feasibility and incorporate technical specifications into the design plans.
- Coordinate with sales representatives to create accurate cost estimates and proposals for clients.
- Communicate design requirements and specifications to the production team to facilitate accurate and timely manufacturing.

Customer Service and Relationship Management:

- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process, ensuring a positive client experience.
- Respond to client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, address any issues, and manage expectations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, fostering trust, loyalty, and repeat business.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in kitchen design or a related design field.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering tools) and familiarity with industry-specific software.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, finishes, and kitchen design trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to balance creativity and practicality in design solutions.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

**Salary**: R8 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
