Company Description
- This role is responsible for the day-to-day running of the environmental management system, environmental incident identification and investigation, assisting with environmental impact assessments as required, assisting with sampling and interpretation of environmental data and assisting with environmental awareness training.

**Job Description**:

- You will be responsible for:
**Effective monitoring of the environmental impact of the Operation**:
**Monitoring environmental media**:

- Prepare site and equipment
- Collect samples
- Preserve samples
- Submit samples
- Report and interpret results

**Environmental Authorizations and Systems Management**:

- Identify environmental incidents
- Record incidents in the management system
- Investigate incidents and advise on preventative and corrective actions
- Monitor action close-out

**Environmental Awareness Training**:

- Prepare monthly environmental talk topics
- Provide coaching as appropriate

**Perform Site Inspections and Audits**:

- Identify environmental non-compliance and non-conformances
- Capture relevant detail
- Report as per procedures
- Monitor action close-out

**This role reports to Environmental Co-ordinator.**

**Qualifications
- You must have**:

- Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science or related field
- Completed relevant Short courses, such as Environmental law, ISO14001 and Auditing

**Experience required**:

- At least 3 years relevant working experience within a processing operation.

**Additional Information

- Valid drivers license
- Medical fitness assessment required
