Internal Sales Representative

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales Support & Lead Generation**:
Assist the external sales team in identifying new sales opportunities and generating leads.
Actively follow up on inbound inquiries, providing information about products, pricing, and services.
Prepare and send quotations based on customer needs and specifications.
Develop relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business and upselling opportunities.
Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure that sales promotions and campaigns are aligned with customer needs.
Assist in managing and updating the customer database (CRM) with new and updated lead information.
Respond to customer requests for product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
**Order Processing & Customer Service**:
Process orders and ensure accuracy of product details, pricing, and delivery information.
Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and order fulfilment.
Manage order discrepancies, product issues, or delivery delays and resolve them promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Provide customers with regular updates on order status, stock availability, and any issues affecting delivery timelines.
Handle customer inquiries and provide technical product support when needed.
Assist in coordinating samples, demonstrations, or product trials for clients.
**Product Knowledge & Industry Expertise**:
Develop a strong understanding of the packaging products and services offered by the company.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product innovations.
**Sales Reporting & Administration**:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.
Generate regular sales reports for the sales team and management, tracking progress against targets.
Assist in monitoring and managing customer accounts, including credit terms, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve billing issues and ensure timely payments.
Help prepare sales presentations and proposals when required.
**Team Collaboration**:
Work closely with the external sales team to ensure alignment on customer needs and sales strategies.
Collaborate with the production, logistics, and customer service departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
Support in the development and execution of promotional or marketing campaigns.
**Qualifications**:
Proven experience in an internal sale, customer service, or similar role, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of packaging products, materials, and industry standards is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer issues professionally and effectively.
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
**Preferred Skills**:
Experience using CRM systems and order software.
Background in packaging materials or experience with sales processes.
Knowledge of pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
