**KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER, JHB, R60 000pm - FMCG INDUSTRY, Gauteng**

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**

1 To retain top customers and nurture those key relationships over time. To become a strategic partner and advisor to the client, discovering new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit.

2 Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition. Operate as the lead point of contact on all matters relating to the Client. Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key accounts.

3 Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Suggest solutions that answer clients’ needs and wants.

4 Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives

5 Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams. Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust

6 Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships

7 Assist in managing the debtors and resolve invoicing issues with clients. Ensure account is running as per contractual payment terms. Track profitability of the portfolio and areas of concern. Annual increases to be negotiated and completed as per contractual terms.

8 Maintain quality service through establishing & enforcing organization standards

9 Stay abreast with current industry trends through attending professional seminars/workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, continuously imploring benchmarking & best global practices

10 Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders.

11 Increase accounts revenue and identify fresh business opportunities adhering to given budget structure.

12 Set activities to ensure that customer interaction is diarised for the year, monitored and measured, e.g. structured events, client breakfasts, and sporting events.

13 Networking with other directors in order to generate new business for the company.

**Salary**: R60,000.00 per month
