**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Preparation or review of accurate and complete schedules / supporting documents ensuring that these tie to trial balances and financial statements.
- Review and analysis of all revenue to ensure completeness as well as validity and accuracy.
- Assist with preparation and review of IFRS and PFMA compliant financial statements.
- Address all issues relating to income and deferred taxation calculations especially wear and tear (including review of Wear and Tear register in conjunction with Fixed Asset Register to ensure accuracy of wear and tear claimed by company Commercial)
- Analysis, investigation and correction of deferred income schedule
- Review of IFRS 16 computation to ensure that ROUA, depreciation, interest and lease liability balances are accurate, valid and complete.
- Review, analysis and correction of fixed assets, investment properties and intangible assets in ensuring that these balances are accurate, valid, completely agree to fixed asset register (FAR).
- Assist with ensuring completeness of FAR.
- Assist with intercompany loan balances ensuring that this balance and all other related balances are accurate, complete, valid and comply with IFRS and PFMA.
- Assist with fruitless and wasteful expenditure registers and relates processes which has fallen behind.
- Assist with preparation and review of IFRS and PFMA compliant financial statements

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Compt Accounting, Honours (SAICA accredited for CA qualification)
- CA(SA) registration
- 10 years experience in accounting including articles
