**Profile**

1. Purpose of Role -The Section Foreman is responsible to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive division through the supervision of a team of artisans within the section and must be done according to regulations and all laws relevant to the tasks.

2. Work of Role -Planning of required projects - Technical support to other sections -Performance efficiencies -Ensure process remains fully operational -SOP compliance -Assist in long term planning - Stakeholder and customer satisfaction -Cost of service per project - Administration of necessary systems - Self involvement to meet targets.

Minimum Requirements

Recognised Trade Test (Certificate, Diploma or Degree)

5 - 10 years Engineering - Boilermaker Supervisor experience in project environment

Valid Driver's License

Computer Literate

Project management skills

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ensure that start up and shut-down procedures are followed at the start and end of the day.
- Monitor workday schedule and plan appropriate head coverage to ensure production requirements are met.
- Work with team members in order to maximize output.
- Manage the production process and provide support where necessary.
- Tracking of units to ensure on time, in full production requirements are achieved to due dates.
- Ensure that output requirements and quality control are monitored, report on output during daily meetings and provide explanations for deviations through to planning.
- Ensure housekeeping is carried out according to weekly plan and sign off.
- Management of teams to ensure production requirements are met.
- Compile monthly reports on progress against KPI"s.
- Coach and mentor direct reports to ensure personal development of team members, ensure staff development through multiskilling so that the required expertise and skills are available to produce necessary output.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting as and when required.
- Monitoring of Non-Conformances in order to determine appropriate action
- Ensure the team adheres to all safety policies and procedures of the company.
- Manage safety equipment for teams.
- Drive continual improvement on war on waste program.
- Ensure availability of materials, tools and equipment and monitor stocks on storage
- Signing of consumable requisitions and ensure correct allocation.

**Salary**: R360,000.00 - R420,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Muldersdrif, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (required)

**Experience**:

- Manager/Supervisor Boiler shop: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Recognized Trade Test (Certificate, Diploma or Degree) (required)
- Driver's license - Minimum Code 10 (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (required)
