**Debtors Clerk**

Reporting to Financial Manager

Job description:

- Perform debtors main function
- Daily capturing of cashbook batches for card related transactions
- Match card payments to sales entries
- Identify credit notes to be processed and compile documentation for approval
- Credit claim verification
- Assisting with capturing of orders
- Assisting with quotes
- Assisting with walk in customers - invoicing and payment verification
- Ensuring security perform correct invoice checks at gate
- Perform monthly interest and statement run
- Create all new customer accounts on Pastel
- Updating product order sheets with necessary
- Updating product weight lists with necessary
- Updating product price lists with necessary
- Monitor customer age analysis and follow up on outstanding accounts
- Perform account reconciliations and journal entries
- Liase with customers and resolve queries
- Weekly switchboard duty
- Occasionally assisting as retail shop cashier
- Daily filing of job-related paperwork
- Ad hoc duties

- Proficient in reading, writing and speaking BOTH ENGLISH & AFRIKAANS **(Non-negotiable)**
- Living in or around Krugersdorp, Roodepoort, Randfontein, Muldersdrift **(Non-negotiable)**
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle **(Non-negotiable)**

Systems experience:

- Sage Pastel Partner - **NO EXCEPTION**
- Microsoft Office - proficient in Excel

Education (Non-negotiable):

- Completed Matric
- Job related degree or diploma from a reputable facility

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: R15 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
