Finance Manger

**Main purpose / objective of the position**:
To ensure that finance is seen as a value adding business partner (Business Tenants, property
management and clients). Develop Finance's influence in the making of business decisions. To execute
financial processes and reporting to clients.
**Decision making authority**:
This position operates within budget parameters and Decision framework. Decisions are based on
knowledge of systems and theory and are chosen from prescribed policies and procedures. Workers in
upper C job grades supervise or co-ordinate the work of the lower C grades.
**Experience / Education**:
Minimum BCom. with Accounting III or equivalent qualification and at least 4 years relevant working
experience.
Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles
CIMA /ACCA
SAP experience is advantageous.
**Skills required**:
Computer literacy: SAP/SAP BI; MS Office - Excel Advanced, Outlook and Word;
Administration: Skills Time Management, Advanced Financial Calculations, Financial Reporting, Policies
and Processes.
**Knowledge required**:
Detailed knowledge of all financial policies, procedures and processes, capital expenditure, contract
management legal aspects, income statements, balances sheets, budgets, forecasts, IFRS and Tax.
**Competencies required**:

**Major drivers of work volume**:
Volume and complexity of departmental and property owner activities. Complexity of reporting needs.
**Interface / relationships with**:
- Internal_: Procurement, Banking, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, IT, Finance and Admin
Managers, Accountants, SSC, Business
- External_: Contractors, Clients, Regulatory bodies e.g., SARS.
