Employee Benefits Specialist

Our client has an opportunity available for an Employee Benefits Specialist.
**Requirements**:
- NQF Level 6 or 7 qualification in business, commerce, or human resources.
- SARA certification would be advantageous.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Solid experience managing employee wellness programmes.
- Knowledge of:
- Compensation and Benefits.
- The basic conditions of the Employment Act.
- Remuneration policies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Interact with the firm’s broker and third-party administrators of all the health and wellness plans.
- Distribute materials and consult with employees, carriers, and administrators.
- Regularly audit and perform quality checks to ensure the accuracy of all benefit related data in the HRIS.
- Provide vendors with accurate eligibility information and provide necessary reports for allocation or billing charges.
- Manage the firm’s wellness programs including regular participation incentives, communication, and education.
- Work with the insurance carrier, staff and attorneys on worker’s compensation claims.
