**Introduction**:
A great opportunity has become available with our mining equipment client for a Mechanical Draughtsman. The role is based in the East Rand.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Grade 12 with at least an N4/N5 qualification
- Minimum of 3 -5 years’ experience in a similar role with proven manufacturing drafting experience
- Must be willing to travel and to go underground for client site visits
- Experienced in creating rough sketches and do detailed work on CAD/ Solid works systems
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Be in possession of a valid driver’s licence with own reliable transport

**Responsibilities**:

- Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
- Follow existing uniformity of the design office modelling programme so that any designer or draftsman can resume work on drawings/layouts.
- Maintenance of drawing office records, change requests, revisions, etc
- Where applicable, consult with Manager and Engineers on new or changed designs before proceeding with drawings.
- General Arrangement Drawings
- Sections and Details Drawings
- Manufacturing and Installation Drawings
