Our client, one of the forerunners specializing in online leak sealing solutions and composite repairs, is seeking to employ a dynamic draughtsman to join their multi-disciplinary team.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
**Proven work experience as a draughtsman or similar role (at least 5 years of experience)**

**Degree/Diploma in Draughting from a technical college.**

**Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software, AutoCad and Autodesk Inventor are essential.**

**Ability to produce manufacturing drawings from concept designs and 3D models.**

**Ability to grasp concepts quickly and efficiently. Work closely with engineers to develop 3D models and for equipment with complex geometries.**

**Ability to work systematically and ensure completion of tasks to meet project deadlines and clients’ expectations.**

**Ability to effectively prioritize workload and work under pressure. Weekends and after-hours work is required at times and remunerated accordingly.**

**Proficient as a team player with excellent communication skills, but also able to work on own initiative. Communication in English at a professional level.**

**Experience using MS Office package, MS Excel is essential.**

**Excellent organizational and planning skills are imperative.**

**ADVANTAGES**

**Knowledge of pressure vessel designs (leak sealing clamps).**

**Knowledge/Experience of designing in accordance to ASME and SANS.**

**Knowledge within the oil & gas industry.**

**Experience with reading P&IDs.**

**Experience with weld maps and draughting of weld details for mechanical components**

**Salary**: Up to R1,000.00 per year

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
