This luxury property is seeking the professional services of a Spa Manager to fulfill the following duties and responsibilities:

- Manage all outlets within the facility including the treatment rooms, wet area, gym and health bar
- Ensure the availability of merchandise and services by maintaining appropriate stock levels
- Train all spa therapists to provide consistently high standards of customer service
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- To have a thorough knowledge of all skincare and body products being used at the Spa and be able to use and prescribe products appropriately
- Ensure the Department meets the required standards as set out by the Company
- Create, update and implement departmental SOPs
- Implement measures and systems to improve cost efficiency and the internal and external customer experience
- Ensure that regular departmental meetings are held and that all company information is frequently shared throughout the department
- Work towards ensuring high levels of employee engagement within the department, as well as positively contribute to the employee engagement levels of the overall property
- Promote ongoing learning and development within the department
- Identify individual training needs or development opportunities for employees and action or plan interventions accordingly
- Implement measures and systems to improve cost efficiency and the customer experience
- Budget, plan and monitor departmental expenditures, to ensure that costs remain within budgeted amounts
- Comply with the prescribed people management requirements and or processes of the property

**Qualifications & Experience Required**:

- South African citizen
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification
- MUST be bi-lingual in Afrikaans and English
- Have at least one of the following or similar relevant qualifications: CIDESCO, ITEC or SAAHSP
- At least 3-5 years experience as a Spa Manager or similar
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Outstanding communication and listening skills
- Computer knowledge essential
- Be guest-centric, ensuring the highest service levels are implemented and delivered
- Have your own reliable transport
- Must be a non-smoker
