Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as per agreed standards.
- To provide technical support and maintenance services to the plant machinery.
- Maintain equipment and perform engineering inspections.
- Perform safety inspections on machine(s)
- Ensure engineering standards are maintained.
- Set up and adjust machines and equipment.
- Generate Job Cards and sign off on the SAP Maintenance System.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the workshop and the plant.
- Ensure work Permits are obtained and signed off once the job completion.
- Must be prepared to work overtime and standby as and when required.
- Must be prepared to work shifts as required.
- Must have own transport.
- Quality workmanship.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Matric or N3 in Mechanical Engineering
- Trade tested as Mechanical Fitter.
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in an explosives plant maintenance environment would be an advantage.
- Pneumatic experience will be an advantage
- SAP experience will be advantageous.
