- Review and Approval of Subcontractor Safety Plans: Ensuring subcontractors follow safety guidelines.
- Verification and Submission of Injury Logs and Reports: Keeping records and reporting incidents
- Promotion and Enforcement of Workplace Safety Practices: Encouraging safe behaviours.
- Safety Guidelines Enforcement and Emergency Preparedness: Implementing safety rules and emergency plans.
- Emergency Preparedness and Communication: Being ready for unforeseen situations.
- Monitoring and Compliance of Permit to Work (PTW) Systems: Ensuring permits are followed.
- Safety Regulation Compliance and Hazard Management: Adhering to safety regulations
- Job Hazard Analysis: Identifying and Assessing Workplace Risks: Evaluating risks systematically
- Establishing Safety Standards, Policies, and Training: Setting guidelines and providing training.
- Worker Safety and Hazard Prevention: Prioritizing employee safety
- Addressing Employee Safety Concerns and Ensuring Workplace Safety: Listening to employees and taking action.
- Coordination of Hazardous Waste Management: Handling hazardous waste safely.

**Qualifications, Experience And Requirements**
- Matric
- SAMTRAC / Relevant Safety Related tertiary qualification.
- 2-5 Years experience working as a safety officer.
- Computer literacy (Excellent)
- Valid driver's license and own transport.
- Stay close to Wadeville, Germiston area.
- Willing to work overtime when required.
