**Position** : Finance Clerk

**Department**: Creditors / Procurement

**Employment Status**: 6 Months Contract

**Closing date** : 19 April 2024
- Maintaining POPI information for Debtors and Creditors;
- Maintaining updates of BEE Certificates with suppliers;
- Prepayment journals;
- Internal reconciliations for all companies;
- Preparation of journals and invoices for Gallop TV;
- Calculating interest on loans;
- Maintaining Breeders' payments and schedules;
- Maintaining payments for Grooms, Trainers, and KZN Nota;
- Assisting with budgeting and external audits;
- Proving support to the Accounts Manager and Creditors team.

Applicants should be in possession of the following:

- Diploma/ Degree in Accounting or equivalent;
- At least 2 years’ experience in a finance environment;
- A good working knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practice;
- Working knowledge and experience with SAP;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel;
- Deadline driven with ability to work well under pressure;
- A high level of administrative skills and attention to detail;
- An analytical and methodical approach to their work;
- Be a strong team player;
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills.

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- working in a finance department: 2 years (required)
