Efficient in Excel and OutlookPlacing of purchasing orders, once the buyers have confirmed their selection

Effectively manage key logistics solutions with Freight forwarders

Liaising with the warehouse team of expected goods to be received

Maintain and update all processes for importing (Spreadsheets, delivery schedules, clearance and communication)

Manage any stolen or lost goods with Marine Insurance

Track orders and ensure timely delivery

Up to date communication with freight forwarders on shipmentsAuthorising freight forwarding estimates and other import changes made with the shipments

Overlooking monthly freight forwarding invoices received

Communicating with purchasing team within the department of order invoices, amounts and creditsWeekly meetings with purchasing team to ensure correct information has been captured on the necessary spreadsheets to plan accordingly

Efficient planning of supplier budgeting and monthly payments for suppliers and their confirmed delivery dates, as well as what is needed for promotions and busy seasons within the companyLiaising with on Forex deals to be booked for supplier payments and monthly budgets planned

Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)

Evaluate offers from Suppliers and negotiate better prices if instructed by Directors

Ensure that stock orders are processed and captured digitally and in files

Creating of supplier stock onto software

Overlooking invoicing and credits received from suppliersBalance and process order invoices with stock received

Quality Inspection of goods received

Overlooking compliance requests from the bank regarding supplier purchases

Creating necessary spreadsheets to keep track of brands and their multiple orders, monthly ready goods, cancellations and invoicing

Updating buying boards, digitally and on pin board

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics Management

Customs Clearance Diploma
- 5-7 years’ experience in a management role in the express or logistics industry
- 5-7 years’ experience with Courier Imports
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to manage time and be punctual
- Ability to work well under pressure

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
