**Managed People Solutions** is looking to hire **an Operational Excellence Director. on a part-time basis **for a very well-known** Liquor Company **based in **Johannesburg, Gauteng**

**Job Purpose**

As part of the Executive Committee (EXCO) of MPS, the Operational Excellence Director. will be responsible to drive new business ventures / opportunities, explore funding possibilities, manage strategic sales and achieve set targets etc.

By increasing brand awareness, customer base and business ventures/opportunities this position will contribute towards the vision and strategic objectives of MPS

**Responsibilities**
- Explore, Identify and achieve new business ventures/ opportunities in line with MPS’ strategic objectives and scorecards.
- This may include networking, lead generation, identification of potential customers, engagement with potential clients, developing proposals etc.
- Exploring funding possibilities in accordance with new business ventures/opportunities.
- Design, develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target and acquire new clients and business opportunities/ventures
- Set and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), monthly
- Manage and maintain sales pipeline to ensure that predetermined sales targets and objectives are met. This may include recording and reporting on client/customer visits
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. This may also include utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track leads manage sales pipelines, and provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the entire customer journey. This includes addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Building and maintain relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders, internally and externally
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Learning Academy, and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and successful delivery of services offerings
- Conduct Risk Management assessments, and identify preventative and corrective measures to be implemented
- Collaborate with management and/or relevant stakeholders to oversee and implement projects for clients/customers, ongoing
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor analysis, and gather insights to develop effective sales and marketing strategies aimed at increasing new business ventures/opportunities
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations to showcase MPS services, highlighting their unique value proposition and benefits for prospective clients/customers
- Preparation and compilation of relevant monthly, quarterly and annual reports

**Requirements**:

- Bcom Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce and/or Management Studies or related fields
- Post graduate Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing and/or Management Studies or related fields (Beneficial)
- 8-10 Proven experience in Sales environment
- Knowledge of relevant Legislation: Corporate Governance & Compliance, Labour Legislation and Liquor Legislation
