Role Purpose
Requirements
- A graduate degree in Actuarial Science
- Progress with the A100 and A200 series (CT series) exams.
- Advanced experience in SQL and Excel is crucial
- Experience in Prophet Actuarial valuation software will be an advantage.
- Experience in an Actuarial valuation environment will be an advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities

The role will be involved in the quarterly valuation process of financial results as well as longer term projects.

**Quarterly valuation process responsibilities will include**:

- Deployment and parameterization of valuation processes and databases
- Monitoring of processes and resolve any process issues during the valuation
- Assisting the individual product valuation teams with process queries
- Understanding, building and assisting with:

- Central calculations done in valuation processes
- Ad-hoc out of process calculations, reports and views
- Assisting the individual product valuation teams to interpret results in the reporting databases

**Responsibilities under current projects include**:

- Onboarding the IFRS17 reporting standard (in additional to other smaller tasks):

- Expanding existing valuation solution for IFRS17 specific fields
- Building process to consolidate IFRS17 information for further calculations
- Automation of data flow between Prophet and SQL data basis
- Support individual product teams with Prophet development where additional resources are required
- Identify opportunities to automate and continuously improve the data and reporting processes.
- Take responsibility for the development/enhancement of processes within the reporting environment.

- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent proficiency in SQL coding and Excel
- Ability to work within a team at times and also independently
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Delivering results and meeting expectations
