**Duties & Responsibilities**:
1. Effective and efficient installation of technology
- Adhering to the Maintenance/Project process flow,
- 1.2 Perform aspects of installations and fault finding services under direction of technicians,
- Support services to the senior technician in call outs, installations, configuration, cleaning of equipment, boom-gates, surroundings, environment and inspections.

2. Effective maintenance of systems technology
- Regular reporting to technician for job requests and installation orders,
- Reporting back on work and issues arising,
- Basic CCTV systems - networking how to crimp cabling and trouble-shooting camera,
- Access Control - how to wire the unit and hardware with basic functioning and troubleshooting,
- Intruder Detection - basic alarm wiring and troubleshooting.

3. Efficient customer service
- Maintain positive and efficient customer relations through interaction with clients on installations and maintenance work.

4. ISO 9001; 14001 & 45001 - Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Standards
- Adhere to the Thorburn Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System’s Policies and Procedures as applicable to this position.

5. Ad Hoc
- Adherence to timeous and correct reporting within set submission dates,
- Any reasonable action requested by management.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent in technical certification
- Valid Driver's Licence 1-2 years driving experience in operating a company vehicle
- PSIRA Grade C (self study permitted)
- N3 Technical certification / Post Grade 12 qualification advantageous
