Freelance Furniture Salesperson

**Job Type: Freelance/Contract**
A premium furniture company in Johannesburg is seeking a highly motivated and experienced freelance furniture salesperson to join our team. As a freelance furniture salesperson, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality furniture products to prospective customers. You will work independently and have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while meeting and exceeding sales targets.
**Responsibilities**:
**Generate leads**: Proactively identify and pursue potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online platforms.
**Product presentation**: Showcase our furniture products to potential customers, highlighting their features, benefits, and superior quality.
**Sales negotiations**: Engage in effective sales conversations, address customer inquiries, overcome objections, and negotiate pricing and terms to secure sales.
**Customer relationship management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and generate repeat business.
**Sales target achievement**: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
**Market research**: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and market demands to identify new sales opportunities.
**Reporting**:Provide regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends to the management team.
**Requirements**:
**Proven sales experience**: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, preferably in the furniture or related industry.
**Excellent communication skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers and present product information.
**Self-motivated**: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative to drive sales.
**Customer-oriented**: A customer-centric approach with a focus on building relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
**Product knowledge**: Familiarity with furniture products, including materials, styles, and trends, to effectively guide and advise customers.
**Negotiation skills**: Ability to negotiate and close sales deals while maintaining a win-win approach for both the customer and the company.
**Results-driven**: A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and a drive to achieve outstanding sales performance.
**Professionalism**: Present oneself in a professional manner, with a positive attitude, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
**Note**:This is a freelance/contract position, and the generous commission-based compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process.
