National Sales Manager

**Our international client is Africa’s leading specialist in the manufacturing of premium knitted and woven mattress fabrics. They are looking for a **National Sales Manager** to commence employment on 1st July 2023 at their factory in Elsies River to define and drive sales strategies consistently and to achieve sales results and annual growth targets.**

**DUTIES**:

- **Manage National and Africa sales**
***:

- **Develop and implement an effective sales approach**
***:

- **New market revenue growth**
***:

- **Ensure alignment to the Group’s strategy / vision and mission**
***:

- **Manage sales administration such as departmental KPIs, sales reports, order book review, backlog report review, customer surveys, etc.**
***:

- **Identify new sales opportunities within the industry and oversee their formal introduction and onboarding processes to ensure sales success**
***:

- **Analyse sales statistics to identify areas of improvement and track results and trends**
***:

- **Ensure customers are informed and agree to the price increases**
***:

- **Maintain excellent customer relations and conduct a quarterly visit to the customer base**
***:

- **Design and implement marketing plans to create product awareness**
***:

- **Liaise with various departments to ensure effective resolution of customer complaints**
***:

- **Oversee finished goods to ensure effective delivery of products**
***:

- **Ensure stock levels are maintained**
***:

- **Feed-back to Management in order to improve processes and procedures**
***:

- **Submit annual sales budgets and review monthly sales vs. budget accounts**
***:

- **Generate sales reports**
***:

- **Develop and coach Sales Team**
***:

- **Assist Sales Team with negotiating, closing and developing marketing plans**

- **Manage dispatch team**

**REQUIREMENTS**:
***
- **Post-graduate Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing**
***:

- **7 - 10 years’ experience in Sales within manufacturing environment (non-negotiable)**
***:

- **5 years’ experience in management**
***:

- **Computer Literate (MS Office + Syspro)**
***:

- **Able to keep abreast of new technology trends**
***:

- **Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting**
***:

- **Understand commercial trends and marketing strategies**
***:

- **Good communication and networking skills**
***:

- **Problem-solving and negotiating skills**
***:

- **Knowledge of modern marketing techniques**
***:

- **Able to work under pressure**
