**Central Reservations Agent**

**Job Purpose**
- To provide guests with the best service and assistance during the booking process and maximize on the Sales Revenues for the various hotels.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes, but not limited to)**
- Ensure quotations and queries are tended to within a timely manner, striving towards a 1-hour turnaround time.
- Telephonic follow-ups to potential bookers, resulting in at least 10 follow up calls per day.
- Maintain guest profiles by assisting with profile merges, covering at least 50 profile merges daily
- Convert at least 10 confirmed bookings daily.
- Tend to all direct social media queries received via Fresh works system, ensuring that the queue is clear at the end of each day.
- Logging all booking and follow up activities in the CRO individual action list.
- Managing CRO telephone lines, ensuring all incoming phone calls are answered within 3 rings.
- Managing CRO & ANEW Rewards mailboxes, tending to queries and booking requests ensuring that the mailboxes are cleared at the end of each day.
- Rotating shifts to ensure fair distribution of working hours.

**REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION**
- 2 Years of experience as a Reservationist/Receptionist
- Tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Opera.
- High level of customer service, disciplined, organised, and attention to detail essential.
- High degree of self-motivation and ambition
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable to fulfil obligation.
- Excellent communication skills.
