**Purpose of the Job**:
**Key Performance areas include**:

- Stock control
- Dispensing (under supervision of a pharmacist)
- Administration
- Housekeeping
- Frontshop service
- Roaming between seven(7) MediRite stores in the Gauteng region:

- Eastrand
- Westrand
- Pretoria
- Vaal Triangle
- Johannesburg
- Mpumalanga
- North West

**Job Objectives**:

- Stock control
- Dispensing (under supervision of pharmacist)
- Administration
- Housekeeping
- Frontshop service

**Qualifications**:**
Essential**:

- Qualified as post basic pharmacist assistant
- Registered as a post basic pharmacist assistant with the South African Pharmacy Council

**Experience**:**
Essential**:

- Two years’ experience as a trainee in a pharmacy

**Knowledge and Skills**:**
Essential**:

- Dispensing knowledge
- Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems
- Bilingual, preferably fluent in English and Afrikaans

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of Retail/ FMCG operations
- Fluent in a 3rd additional Language
