- Support the Reputation Management function and contribute to the delivery of professional and efficient influencer relations, across traditional and social media.

- Provide strategic and administrative assistance to the Head of Reputation Management and deliver a professional and efficient media relations service for Discovery.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers and other stakeholders
- Assist with events such as media conferences, interim and final year-end results presentations, and sponsorship activities and events.
- Support a variety of campaigns across the Discovery businesses by defining goals, analysing problems and exploring opportunities for brand promotion.
- Provide strategic reputation support across the various projects and take accountability for the PR and social media element of these projects.
- Create a variety of content, both developing content ideas, writing and curating content,
- Producing reports
- Coordinate the development of media releases, speeches, social media content, video and any other external communications material in collaboration with the content team.
- Respond promptly and accurately to queries from individuals, journalists and other organizations.
- Monitor and gather insights into industry development and best practices, and giving feedback to the business.
- Develop innovative, creative and unique approaches to influencer marketing.

**Education and Experience**
- Honours degree in Media, Corporate Communications, PR, Business Studies or the equivalent
- 2-5 years of media/stakeholder relations experience in corporate communications, PR, digital, marketing or similar in a financial service, management consulting, journalism or similar space. Public relations agency or management consultancy experience advantageous.
- Experience working with insurance, investment, or financial services brands beneficial
- Proven track record and journalist/producer network in respect of media relations
- Experience developing and/or implementing communications strategies

**Skills**
- High level of computer literacy, including the ability to research online and learn how to use new online tools
- Familiarity with digital media platforms such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
