**Head of People - Group Technology**

your purpose_**

As an essential part of the Group Technology and Group People Executive teams, you will lead the creation of a workplace where our passionate Associates and Partners have the best work experience.

Lead the People function for the Group Technology division as they _aim to lead from the edge & migrate from a support function to a thought leader._

You share best practice People advice and expertise with your business partners and ensure all people-related activities and programs are implemented in accordance with the Group’s strategy and compliance requirements.

your day-to-day responsibilities:_**
- Develop and implement in collaboration with your team the People strategy aligned to the business vision and its current and long-term objectives.
- Lead the successful delivery of group People programmes, inclusive of effective change management processes to support these.
- Establish, identity and track key People metrics linked to the Divisional strategy.
- Contribute to management board reports.
- Lead, guide, inspire and motivate your People team to support you in the delivery of the People agenda for the technology division.
- Lead skills development and learning for scarce and critical skills.
- Partner with Group L&D and Talent Management to develop career pathing for critical roles.
- Manage the implementation of individual development plans for high potential associates.
- Implement mechanisms that foster a learning culture and growth mindset.
- Create Leadership Development Road maps to address and meet the latest managerial and leadership requirements during and post the pandemic from junior to senior management levels
- Train, coach, and mentor line managers on best practice people management practices to minimize labour related matters and to ensure effective resolution.
- Support line management to drive organisational transformation by ensuring that the workforce demographics are aligned with the company’s long-term transformation goals.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives in support of the Group’s transformation plans.
- Manage the execution of Group initiated culture programmes. Proactively identify and create culture initiatives that are aligned to Group IT’s unique requirements, i.e. engagement survey and post results action plans.
- Optimize Associate and Partners Wellbeing initiatives to increase employee engagement, performance, and retention particularly in the context of hybrid working arrangements.
- Collaborate with your business partners to redesign a workspace aligned to flexible working arrangements.
- Manage the Organisational Design and/or reorganisation processes to minimise risk and maximise benefits for the Technology division.

**_what are the minimum requirements?_**
- A Post graduate People related qualification or equivalent example Organisational Psychology
- 5-8 years’ experience in People Related role, with at least 2 years’ experience operating at a Divisional Executive level.
- Information Technology industry experience or Retail Industry experience where you were supporting a technology function would be highly advantageous.
