**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain all lab analyzer systems and associated equipment for Diagnostics sites
- Maintenance and configuration of existing systems in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Repair and recover from hardware or system failures. Coordinate and communicate with Line management.
- Coordination of resources to action and update identified risks that are highlighted via SCCM and / or other technical departments.
- Maintain desktop systems and associated equipment for Diagnostics sites.
- Provide technical support for desktop and related infrastructure environments.
- To assist in monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of all related IT systems.
- Acts in a troubleshooting capacity remotely and on site as required.
- Interfaces with Information Management Team and IT Technical team to define and create infrastructure services and solutions in line with business requirements.
- Perform operations as part of the Desktop support team.
- Develop a "personal development plan". Short, medium and long Term.
- Manage personal KPI's in accordance with company policy and performance management guidelines.
- Ensure that the Desktop support team meets the agreed incident, problem and service level agreements.
- Adhere to team plans for Projects as required, manage own deliverables and timeframes to ensure that the team delivers committed tasks and projects deadlines.
- Interfaces with users, consultants, technical teams, and vendors for maximum guidance in determining the most appropriate type of solutions.
- Interface with 3rd party vendors to ensure operations conform to best.
- Ensure that the required modifications are made to designs, configurations and architecture of existing infrastructure to ensure optimum use of all hardware and software resources.
- Proactively improving service availability wherever possible, and optimizing the availability of the IT Infrastructure to deliver cost-effective improvements that deliver tangible benefits to the business.
- Research knowledge of future demand for IT services and predict the effects of demand on performance service levels.

**Job Requirements**:

- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE SETTING UP LAB ANALYZERS
- Minimum NQF Level 4 Qualification(Matric) with a National Diploma: Information Technology
- Microsoft Windows Certification
- CompTIA Security+ Certified
- 5 years IT Technical Support Experience
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft Office
- Windows Server and Desktop support
- Helpdesk Technologies
- IT Service Delivery
