Despatch Controller

**Job Desciption**:
ITB Flexible Packaging Solutions (ITB) is a flexible plastic packaging manufacturer and part of the Novus Holdings Group. ITB produces an array packaging for the FMCG and food markets. Its products include retail bags, security bags, FFS food packaging, heavy duty sacks and carrier bags which are distributed across South Africa and abroad.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Receipt of finished goods
- Inspection of finished goods
- Storage of finished goods
- Stock control & accuracy
- Control of retail and Plaslope orders
- Preparation of finished goods for despatch Documentation
- Loading of finished goods onto trucks
- Housekeeping and safety standards
- Control and maintenance of forklifts
- Monitor and control staff efficiency and overtime.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Matric or equivalent
- Computer certificate (Microsoft Excel, word, and outlook)
- Diploma/Certificate in Logistics or equivalent

**Experience Requirements**:

- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position with references.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Despatch processes.
- Knowledge of SYSPRO system an added advantage

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Ability to allocate transport providers for specific customers
- Attention to detail with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good leadership skills.
- Ability to operate a computer.
- Ability to liaise with transporters and customers.
- Ability to control and motivate Despatch personnel.
