Printing Supervisor

Our client in Cape Town, Blackheath is currently seeking an experienced Printing Supervisor to join their team. This role involves overseeing the operation of printing equipment, managing staff, and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality prints. If you have experience with CorelDrawn, Caldera RIP, and operating 2.5m flatbed and vinyl printers, along with strong leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.

START DATE : 31st May 2024 - 15th June 2024

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric
- 2 - 3 years’ experience working in the printing industry
- Experience with CorelDraw and Caldera RIP software
- Proficiency in operating 2.5m flatbed and vinyl printers
- Previous experience managing staff in a printing environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage material ordering and maintenance
- Quality control experience in print production

**DUTIES**:

- Managing a small team of staff involved in the printing process
- Ordering and maintaining printing materials
- Managing job cards and overseeing job scheduling
- Reporting on any issues with equipment or production
- Ensuring quality control of prints coming off the printers
- Overseeing the output of a small factory according to job cards
