- Join us as an HR Coordinator Operations, where you will be responsible for HR structure for effective deployment (M4S) and development of operations labour as well as good employee relations. The HR Coordinator - Operations role forms an integral part of the Operational Management team, with the responsibility of ensuring the effectiveness of the human resources within the operations. The incumbent is responsible for HR Service delivery to the production manager.

Significant operational improvements are required within Anglo American Platinum to deliver on our strategy and achieve our purpose, which is to Re-imagine mining to improve people’s lives. This work includes the realization of our Zero Harm, Elimination of Fatalities, Life of Asset Plan, P101, and advancement of Future Smart Mining programmes. Within Anglo American Platinum, the challenges to achieve this are considerable and complex.

**Job Description
- Your responsibilities include**:

- Providing advice, guidance and support to employees and line managers on a broad range of people related matters HR issues including the interpretation of policies, procedures and terms and conditions of employment; managing discipline and grievances, resourcing, and workforce planning; and effective utilisation of the performance review process.
- Ensuring effective manning of jobs and teams according to plans
- Maintaining Operational functions comply with all obligations under relevant employee consultation processes.
- Leading and developing the performance of the team in line with AAP performance management system and company values, in order to achieve objectives.
- Keeping accurate and complete Labour information
- Maintaining up-to-date information on people movement including promotions, transfers secondment and exits.
- Providing independent support on a range of Labour Management issues in conjunction with the relevant HR Line Managers and Supervisors
- Supporting and reinforcing people change programme interventions including up skilling of managers in e.g., Employee Relations
- Providing effective HR administration with accurate and timely information in line with established standards and processes

**This role is in the HR Department at a Band 6 level reporting to the Senior HR Manager**
- Qualifications
- NQF 7 Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Human Resource management or Industrial Psychology.

**Experience**:
At least five years Human Resources Mining experience, of which two years must be at management level.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Proficient in Computer literacy
- Computer literate for role including SAP HR
- Competent in Operations HR systems and related legislation
