Lead WISE² safety program & HS&WB & Sustainability activities, risks analysis and prevention, standards implementation, trainings, audits & inspection, incident and accident management, equipment safety,

Drive continuous HS&WB & Sustainability continuous improvement & performance, through monitoring of HS&WB & Sustainability metrics and action plans, implementation of effective systems, tools & processes.

Develop Plant HSWB & Sustainability capabilities and personnel (Site EHS Officer & Coordinators)

About you
**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**

**Main job responsibilities along with summarised sub elements**

1. Inspire and drive the Plant HS&WB & Sustainability Priorities
- Site HSWB Steering Committee Secretary
- Advising and coaching Plant Leadership Teams
- Build Plant HS&WB & Sustainability ambition strategy and roadmap (including Health & WellBeing with HR & Sustainability with General Secretary)
- Health Safety and Environmental budget (opex and capex) preparation & follow-up
- Building, deployment and animation of the HS&WB & Sustainability action plans
- Monitor/ challenge the consistency and execution of sites roadmaps aligning with CBU Health Safety Wellbeing and Sustainability strategies

2.** Lead WISE² safety program & HSWB & Sustainability activities**
- Ongoing risk assessments and implement mitigation action plans
- Implement, animate and continuously improve compliance to Standards, Rules, and procedures
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements; (Machine Safety, Fire, PPE, Waste Water, Fire Safety, Emission control, Waste Management, Emergency Response, Certifications, )
- Lead the management of WISE² audit program and inspections plans on the site, ensuring quality and level of exigence of audits/inspections, availability of auditors and implementation of action plans (culture & compliance standards)
- Lead the Green Audit program for the site
- Implement and animate the Danone Way requirements to ensure compliance
- Ensure ongoing incident collection, classification, analysis, investigation and action plan completion
- Champion HS&WB management of site works and investment projects
- Contractor Management / Work permits ,
- Coordinate Machine Safety and Safety capex management/coordination
- Implementation of HS&WB & Sustainability roadmap together with Operations, HR & GS Teams

**3. Drive continuous HSWB & Sustainability continuous improvement & performance.**
- Set Site objectives to meet CBU HSWB & Sustainability strategy and prevent incidents
- Monitoring of H&S Metrics (including monthly safety reporting)
- Build and monitor HSWB & Sustainability metrics with Operations and HR & GS
- Analysis of trends & systems gaps and definition of improvement plans
- Ensure regular physical presence on plant/ shop floor to create proximity, conduct health checks on WISE² implementation providing effective support & coaching to reinforcing safety culture & standards compliance,
- Animating and sharing of safety performance & KPI status
- Coordinate HSWB communication
- Promote the sharing of best practices and learnings from hi potential gravity incidents and fatal/severe accident through effective animation
- Participate in Water forum steerco and Global positive impact initiatives relevant to the site

**4. Develop CBU HSWB & Sustainability capabilities and personnel.**
- Train, support & coach sites safety, Health, Wellbeing & Sustainability teams to develop the desired health, safety and wellbeing & Sustainability (management and technical) skills & knowledge
- Support, coach, train & develop the health safety and wellbeing & Sustainability skills, knowledge & capabilities of Site management, Line Managers and employees
- Work with Sub Sahara HSWB Head & HR to attract/recruit, develop and retain HW&B & Sustainability professionals for the site
- Build positive relations with service providers (e.g. Bureau Veritas, ERM) at country level, coordinate consolidated safety training and consulting services & monitor service quality arbitrating scope of work and conflicts.

**5. Position Responsibility & Key Dimensions**
- Occupational accidents & occupational illnesses of Site Danoners and contractors
- including high potential gravity incidents
- Working on risk anticipation through management of the base of the accident pyramid
- Standards compliance and safety culture maturity on site
- Health, Safety & Wellbeing Resources and budget (capex, headcount, Opex)
- Serve as a WISE² Certified Auditor ( in Year 1)
- Serve as a WISE² Lead Auditor ( in Year 3)
- HSWB teams (including WISE² Auditors)
