**Location/Division**: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Clinical Trials Division, Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa

**Reports To**: Warehouse Manager - Responsible Pharmacist

**Position Objective**:
The Warehouse Technician, with limited supervision and with appropriate training on software systems and processes, be capable of coordinating various time sensitive cold chain activities with high levels of accuracy, ensuring critical clinical trial supplies are efficiently maintained in accordance with the company or client specific policies and procedures within client delivery timelines.

**What will you do?**
- Supports all warehouse activities and operational functions related to correct and accurate process flows.
- Maintains cGxP system to ensure standards relating to Good Wholesale Practice and Health and Safety are complied with.
- To maintain pharmacy plans and adhere to Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and other relevant documentation required by law and study protocols for specific projects.
- To prepare study and related drugs for distribution according to project specific protocols and SOPs under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
- To monitor and maintain the drug inventory receipt and dispensations logs on a regular basis in accordance with GxP the relevant study protocol and SOPs/SSUs.
- Participate in study-related training.
- Participate in and contribute to the development and achievement of the corporate goals and objectives.
- Data capturing of relevant paperwork to complete the clinical trial processes.
- Ensures that clinical supplies are stored and distributed in accordance with Fisher Clinical Services approved procedures, policies, cGMP, cGDP and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the investigation of customer complaints though to resolution where required.
- Perform any reasonable task, in line with the business’s goals as requested by upward liaison on projects and improvement initiatives as required by Management.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as requested by line management

**How will you get here? Education**
- Grade 12
- Qualification in, Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent
- Minimum of 2+ years’ working experience in a similar position with focus on Customer Service Administration

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry will be beneficial
- A hands-on, hard-working and motivated individual who can work independently, with ability to multi-task, and lead/triage priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect positively at all levels of an organization, the customer and key suppliers
