**JOB PURPOSE**

**DUTIES**
- Analyse fiscal transactions to assure conformity and compliance with accepted accounting procedures, company procedures and methods.
- Direct and coordinate the processing of the Company’s accounting procedures.
- Maintain, analyse and reconcile all subsidiary and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare requests for proposals and contracts for professional financial services.
- Direct and review financial record keeping activities such as purchasing, fixed assets, and accounts payable.
- Research, compile and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Work with the Company’s IT Department and Financial staff in analysing company’s needs, making recommendations, and implementing improvements to computerized accounting systems.
- Review various documents and records for accuracy, appropriate coding, and compliance with policies. Establish procedures for timely collection of monies due to the Company and follow-up on collection problems. Establish procedures for an aggressive collection program, including small claims actions.
- Provide oversight for the monitoring, maintenance, and audit of contract and concession agreements to ensure terms and conditions are met.
- Work with department directors and other staff on accounting and analytical related issues and problems.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- CA or Master’s degree in Financial Management, Business Administration, Financial Accounting or other
- Strong team player with great interpersonal skills;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word; Excel; Outlook and Internet);
- A customer service-oriented individual with ability to deal with all service providers;
- Excellent written and oral communication coupled with good Presentation skills;
- Should be in possession of a valid Driver’s License;
- 10 years’ experience in accounting, operations and financial management of large-scale, complex, international development assistance programs.
- Demonstrated previous experience in developing and presenting and managing budgets.

**Salary**: R60,000.00 - R80,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Masters (preferred)

**Experience**:

- accounting, operations and financial management: 10 years (preferred)
