Landani facilities Management is looking to employ 3 x working at height technicians with a **minimum Level 3 training certification of working at height**.
**Common duties of Working at Height Technician**:
- **Window Cleaning**: Perform cleaning of exterior windows on buildings and structures using specialized equipment such as ladders, scaffolding, or suspended platforms.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal safety as well as the safety of others, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as harnesses, safety lines, and helmets.
- **Equipment Setup**: Set up and inspect equipment before each job to ensure it is in proper working condition and meets safety standards. This may include rigging and anchoring systems for suspended platforms or safety lines for rappelling.
- **Risk Assessment**: Conduct thorough risk assessments of the work area to identify potential hazards such as unstable surfaces, overhead obstacles, or adverse weather conditions.
- **Efficiency and Quality**: Work efficiently and effectively to complete cleaning tasks within scheduled time frames while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality.
- **Communication**: Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of projects. Communicate any safety concerns or issues encountered during work.
- **Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance and inspection of cleaning equipment to ensure its proper functioning and longevity.
- **Customer Service**: Provide courteous and professional service to clients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding the cleaning process or results.
- **Emergency Response**: Be prepared to respond to emergencies or accidents, including providing first aid or assistance to colleagues in distress and initiating rescue procedures if necessary.
Urgent appointment
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: R5 700,00 - R7 000,00 per month
Expected hours: No more than 42 per week
**Experience**:
- Working at height: 2 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
- LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATION OF WORKING AT HEIGHTS (required)
