Calling all Junior Actuarial and Quantitative Analysts

**Job & Company Description**:
There is an opening for a Junior Quantitative Analyst at a cutting-edge Financial Services company that provides a range of solutions to their clients. Their primary focus is on developing and implementing technology-driven solutions that help their clients optimize their operations, manage risk, and improve customer engagement.

Using advanced modeling and analysis techniques, the incumbent will be able to generate insights that will assist in guiding pricing decisions and identify areas for optimization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Valuation and pricing of a wide range of products, sectors, and clients
- Back-testing of pricing models
- Analyze data with advanced analytics and data mining methods, evaluating the validity and usability of data
- Make predictions and forecasts regarding future business results
- Develop, evaluate, and refine statistical and mathematical models relevant to the company's operations
- Predictive and prescriptive modeling
- Experience with cash flow and financial modelling
- Pre-process data, which includes manipulating, transforming, normalizing, standardizing, visualizing, and deriving new attributes and variables
- Develop, validate, and implement automated processes to perform large-scale data analysis and modeling
- Validate, interpret, and create reports and presentations for top management, department heads, and other stakeholder groups

**Education**:

- Degree in Mathematics / Statistics / Actuarial (Honours Degree preferred)

**Job Experience & Technical Skills Required**:

- 1 - 4 years work experience
- SAS and Excel experience (Python advantageous)
