**Job description**:
We are seeking a highly experienced property consultant to join our team on a permanent basis. As a property specialist, you will be responsible for setting up a property management team and providing in-depth training to junior staff members. Your expertise in property management and knowledge of South African laws related to property will be crucial in ensuring the successful establishment of processes, document management, and maintenance plans.

**Responsibilities**:
Establish and lead a property management processes and policies, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to industry standards.
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for junior staff members, focusing on property management best practices and compliance with South African laws.
Collaborate with team members to create and document effective property management processes, ensuring streamlined operations and efficient document management.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, ASIB standards, rental laws, and South African building standards.
Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and enabling them to work independently at the end of the contract.

**Requirements**:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in property management, with a proven track record of successfully setting up property management teams and developing processes.
In-depth knowledge of South African laws related to property, including Occupational Health and Safety regulations, ASIB standards, rental laws, and SA building standards.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively train and mentor junior staff members.
Excellent organisational and documentation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
