Cost Clerk

Responsible for, but not limited to product costing and tooling inventory reporting and maintenance. Compare actual costs to estimates and analyse any variances.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE WORKED OR CURRENTLY EMPLOYED IN THE FMCG, MANUFACTURING, ENGINEERING OR AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY WILL BE CONSIDERED.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of cost estimates/quotes for new products/customers and product changes.
- Update BOMS as necessary.
- Assist with stock counts.
- Load cost estimates/quotes on customer websites.
- Assist with recons/schedules for tooling requirements.
- Set-up accurate records for old and new product costings.
- Maintain customer tooling inventory
- Draw up tooling audit information on continuous basis
- Maintain and upgrade MMS system for tooling

**Requirements**:

- Have a manufacturing background (Automotive Manufacturing, a definite advantage)
- Have engineering and/ or financial experience preferably a diploma or degree in Finance and or Costing.
- Ability to work independently.
- Mathematical ability, and attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and Internet)
- 5 Years + Experience
- Must have automotive background
- Manufacturing Industry
- Solid experience costing products and estimates
- Detail Orientated
- High-pressure environment
- Diploma required
- Degree Preferred

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: From R30,000.00 per month
