**The opportunity**:
Support function to the Compliance and Conformance Manager with administrative work related to the compliance strategy implementation. Work closely with multiple areas of the business such as sourcing, buying, shipping, manufacturing, finance and quality teams to ensure the diligent on-boarding of merchandise vendors and to continuously follow up on vendor compliance.

Reporting into the Compliance and Conformance Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for vendor on-boarding and compliance
- Responsible for registering, documenting,and recording of vendor compliance elements including dealing with authorities when necessary
- Identify vendor shortfalls in compliance and capability, with the ability to communicate this with respective suppliers and other stakeholders
- Record keeping and effectively monitor the merchandise vendor on-boarding process to ensure that vendors are on-boarded within 14 days
- Assist the rest of the compliance team with the managing of compliance risk
- Regular interaction with colleagues and management to ensure the effective delivery of compliance processes and activities
- Continual communication to respective stakeholders
- Communicate and schedule vendor audits under the guidance of the Compliance and Conformance manager
- Ensure that all participants are informed well in advance of the audit via calendar invite
- Follow up on external audit feedback and summarise feedback received and escalate risks identified
- Loading of new vendors on the ERP solution
- Update and manage vendor information on the Compliance Tool
- Upload BBBEE certificates to the relevant platform
- Set up vendor SEDEX links and monitor SAQ completion
- Attendance of regular compliance meetings, reading and training coordination
- Responsible for the resolution of day-to-day compliance queries from suppliers and merchants and escalating where necessary

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
- 2-3 years of administration and/or relevant experience
- Previous experience in vendor compliance, registering and coordinating compliance documentation processes and following up with the authorities
- Administratively strong with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
