As the Analytics Chapter Lead, you'll be responsible for the overall analytics frameworks, methodologies and ways of working used to help create the clarity and understanding that keeps us flying in the right direction. You are to work with the Head of Data in defining the analytical tools, strategy and knowledge delivered that will all assist the business by enabling decision making throughout the organisation and helping our leadership and teams answer critical business questions.

**What you'll do**:

- Work closely with the Data Domain Squad Leads to ensure accurate, standardised and efficient analytical solutions are delivered by the data team members.
- Engage stakeholders around key business processes to derive actionable insights.
- Support and enable primary decision-makers to obtain insights themselves from models and dashboards, debating problems and solutions with them.
- Make claims from investigations and experiments evidenced through metrics and analysis.
- Implement high quality, well-structured code in our BI and data platform.
- Guide (and brainstorm with) the team of analysts to overcome obstacles or make improvements to the methodologies.
- Drive initiatives to discover lead metrics, trends and patterns that impact various levels of management.
- Work with the Head of Data to develop the Analytics roadmap
- Future proof the analytics capability on OfferZen through investigation and testing of tools and frameworks
- Collaborate with Data engineering and Data science where necessary
- Contribute to developing the team processes for delivery, kaizen, support and bugs.
- Mentor all analysts in the team.
- Promote the improvement in the skills of the data community in OfferZen through training and development of users

**You'll be a great fit for this role if you have**:

- Ability to engage stakeholders to identify business requirements
- Leadership or management experience
- A good knowledge of SQL (Bonus Python or R)
- 3+ years experience with data modelling and database technologies
- Experience with BI technologies (such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Qlik) and data visualization
- Experience with reporting
- Analytical techniques and evaluation of findings to ensure correctness.
- Storytelling with data, building a narrative and reducing complexity into simple explanations for non-technical audiences
- Self-management of workload and time.

**Background and personality**:

- Curious, yet risk averse.
- BEng or BSc degree
- 5+ years experience in BI analytics and development
- Used to working in small teams
- Good communication skills
- High confidence, low ego
- Capable of backing opinions and decisions with data
