You will execute communications activities including publishing, measurement coordination and other operational activities across internal and/or external channels.

**How you will contribute
**In this role, you will execute media relations, government affairs, internal communications and community engagement activities across markets. You will monitor and measure communication channels and/or advocacy activity, including but not limited to traditional media, social media, media hotlines, lobbying audit and more. In addition, you will support operational activities to deliver key internal and external communication priorities, including content development and event planning execution, collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, and ensure activities are delivered within budget.

**More about this role**

**What you need to know about this position**:
As the CGA Communication Coordinator, this role contributes to that purpose through the design and execution of outstanding internal communications and supporting CSR projects in SSA (Sub Saharan Africa) in addition to driving external communications projects.

**How you will contribute**

**Internal communications**
- Coordinate the content calendar for the SSA Business Unit
- Develop creative and inspiring content for our employee e-newsletter, internal social media platform - Yammer - and digital screens
- Develop effective and creative communications to the business and colleagues
- Development of a monthly online newsletter
- Support and facilitate local rollout of Global initiatives
- Deliver engaging video content using internal software
- Develop content for sharing via local, regional and global internal communication channels including Yammer and intranet news pages
- Coordinate contributions to local, regional and global reports

**CSR projects**
- Work closely and support CGA team with the coordination of CSR projects with NGO partners across the BU
- Communicate and build pride internally through our CSR programs

**Education / Certifications**:

- Communication/Public Relations/Journalism/Marketing qualification Degree/Diploma
- 1 to 2 years experience
- Design & Video skills
- Computer Literacy
- Social media experience (advantageous)
