**IT (Technical) Support**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric Certificate
- A qualification in Information Technology would be beneficial.
- A minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in IT support.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Basic SQL.
- Tech-savvy with excellent overall IT literacy.
- A patient demeanor to engage daily with a diverse range of non-technical users in technical support.
- Proficiency in following written instructions and procedures.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Respond effectively to client inquiries and proactively solve issues as they arise.
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to meeting customer SLA's and KPI's as a dedicated support representative.
- Receive, categorize, and thoroughly investigate IT support requests.
- Employ a strategic approach to escalate complex IT issues to second-line technical support, providing detailed feedback if resolution is not immediate.
- Acquire proficiency in utilizing the business's primary software platform and its full functionality. Offer comprehensive support to clients facing software-related technical challenges.
- Collaborate seamlessly within a team, ensuring timely escalation of issues when necessary, and maintaining group ownership of customer queries. Accurate problem determination and meticulous recording of details for all incoming queries and issues are paramount.
- Navigate interactions with both technical and non-technical personnel across all levels within the supported organization. Utilize acquired knowledge to assist colleagues effectively.
- Keep all users well-informed about the ongoing progress of their reported problems, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
