**POSITION: BUYERS’ ASSISTANT**

**LOCATION: CENTURION, PRETORIA**

**MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Matric
- Completed Diploma / Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain **(Advantageous)**
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ working experience in procurement or a similar role
- Proficient on all MS Office packages with **Advanced MS Excel (Essential)**
- Able to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality
- Able to prepare Quotations on Pastel **(Advantageous)**
- Maintain positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, and maintaining accurate records
- Analytical mind and keep up with product and service trends
- Able to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards
- Excellent communication, admin, and negotiation skills
- Problem-solving skills & attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license (no endorsements)
- Own reliable vehicle
- Must be available immediately
- In accordance with the POPI Act 4 of 2013_:
**Salary**: R12,000.00 per month
