**What will you do in this role?**

As an Editor, you will bring sight and sound together in line with the creative treatment. You will create a well-paced, engaging video experience that enhances the learning experience for Lobster Ink's clients by creating comprehensible video edits.

**Key Task & Responsibilities**

**Execution**
- Uphold Lobster Ink and industry best practice standards through consistently delivering quality video editing.
- Contribute to well visualised and efficient shot listing.
- Accurately log footage according to Lobster's standards.
- Post-Production administration, including file management, consolidation and project sign-off
- Implementation of translations to video and non-video content.

**Creativity and world-class work**
- Quickly understand and analyse pre-production templates in order to deliver content during post-production.
- Work closely with the Lead Editor, Lead Creative and Film Department on delivering the visual style and concept.
- Create consistent, beautiful work at scale.
- Inspire our clients with your work.

**Output Creation and Management**
- Creatively and efficiently edit videos using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, with consistent high quality according to the deadlines and style guides given.
- Ensure consistency in the quality of delivery of all visual assets.
- On a project basis, take responsibility for consistent and accurate data management through media asset management, consolidation and sign-off, with the Digital Asset Manager.

**Targets**
- On-time, on-budget delivery of work.
- Quality product with 0% errors.

**Skills / Competencies**
- Detailed knowledge of editing and animating with Adobe Creative Suite, with extensive experience in using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Excellent time management and quality control skills are essential.
- Understanding of bitrate, aspect ratio and resolution in exporting videos from Premiere Pro CC and Media Encoder.
- In depth knowledge of data management through media asset management, consolidation and sign-off.
- Proactive individual with proven strength in attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage several tasks simultaneously.
- Possesses excellent attention to detail.

**Minimum experience required**
- Minimum three years' experience in the field of video editing - experience in both, online and offline editing is advantageous.
- Previous experience working in an e-learning environment is beneficial.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Media Encoder CC and After Effects CC.

**Minimum qualifications/education**
- Relevant degree or diploma in film or video content production.
- An individual portfolio or showreel of post-production projects is required.
