**Job Purpose**:
The Finance Officer at eKomi is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations within the organization, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounts processing, ledger management, and reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Transactions**: Process and prepare financial and business forms to check account balances, facilitate purchases, etc.
- **Document Management**: Maintain accurate and secure financial records in compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- **Accounts Management**: Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and deliver financial reports.
- **Budgeting Support**: Assist in budget preparation and manage expenses for assigned accounts.
- **Reporting**: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports reflecting the organization’s financial status.
- **Audit Support**: Assist with both internal and external auditing procedures.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure adherence to financial laws and regulations, staying updated on recent changes.
- **Cash Handling**: Oversee the organization's cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Communicate with clients, vendors, and banks, and handle related correspondence.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience in a finance role.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.

**Experience**:

- At least 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
- Experience using financial software.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Work Environment**:

- This role is office-based in Cape Town and may require occasional travel to different sites or branches.

Pay: R20 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
